International Conference on “Use of Arts, Multimedia and Games in Group Work Practice”
The Family and Group Practice Research Center of Department of Social Work, The Chinese University of Hong Kong organized an International Conference on “Use of Arts, Multimedia and Games in Group Work Practice” on 28 May, 2012 at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The Conference aimed to heighten the awareness of the participants in the uses of arts, multimedia and games in advancing group work practice and equip the participants with updated knowledge and diverse perspectives on the use of creative media for individuals, families in need and groups for intrapersonal, interpersonal and social transformation. The participants showed enthusiastic responses towards three keynote speeches and eight experiential workshops. Our heartfelt thanks go out to all the knowledgeable speakers and facilitators at the Conference for their contribution, participation and sharing. The conference attracted over two hundred local and overseas participants from different organizations, teachers and students from different universities.
