Message from Committee Chair
The mission of our department is to provide professional education and we regard it as our lifelong career. In this rapidly changing era, social work and other helping professions have been subjected to new challenges. Therefore Continuing Professional Education of our department continues to assist all helping professionals (including social workers, nurses, doctors, therapists, etc.), as well as those government officials related to civil affairs, in providing job related professional education and training, and to consolidate and enhance their knowledge and skills to strengthen their capacity in their careers.
Since its establishment, Continuing Professional Education in line with the needs of a variety of professionals has provided thousands of seminars and training courses on campus. In order to ensure the quality of education, we have highly experienced first class trainers who are from both local and foreign (including the United States, Canada and Australia), to provide training for professionals to help cultivate outstanding personnel.
In recent years, Continuing Professional Education extended our services to the mainland China. In a short span of three years, hundreds of professionals from the Mainland have received our training. Looking ahead, we will continue to provide more high quality training courses for Hong Kong and the Mainland professionals, to equip them for better career prospects and at the same time, the service recipients will be benefited.
