Welcome to the NGO Leadership Programme, sponsored by Operation Santa Claus (OSC)! This is a 9-month programme comprises of multidisciplinary training and mentoring, creating an environment for our participants to further develop their management skills and gain new perspectives on how to advance and evolve community initiatives. We are pleased to invite managers in NGOs, social enterprises, charitable foundations, corporate participants and government officers in Hong Kong who are interested in working in community service or related areas, to apply and join us.

Trainings are split into three modules, concentrating on “Service Model Development and Evaluation,” “Resource and Planning Management,” and “Media and Communications”. In addition to training, participants will be paired with mentors from UBS and CUHK to create a Final Programme Project on behalf of their organization, and pitch for funding to implement at the conclusion of the Programme. The project development focuses on applying the acquired knowledge and skills by incorporating perspectives and strategic thinking from the business sector, while maintaining the humanistic sensitivity of society’s most vulnerable needs. We envision this award scheme to cultivate culture amongst NGO executives to excel professionally through learning and exchange.

Since 2015, the Programme has trained 51 managerial or directorial participants from 46 organisations. Get our latest news and take a look at the inspirational moments of the NGO Leadership Programme at our Facebook Page!
