The School-to-work Transition Activity Series - Mock Job Interview for Final Year BSSc and MSSc Students was conducted on 11 April 2026. Our Department was honored to have eight leaders from social service organizations who have rich experiences in staff recruitment in different service settings serving as our guest interviewers.
96 BSSc and MSSc final-year students attended this event. 13 students took turn to be the mock interviewees on sample job advertisements, followed by valuable feedback by our guests to students over their content of responses, communication skills, gestures and so on.
Guest interviewers also gave valuable insights on the latest job career market situation in different social work fields, as well as how final year students may orientate themselves during the job-hunting processes.
