Description

In a world characterized by Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity (VUCA), the need for innovative approaches to social inclusion and sustainability has never been more pressing. This international conference aims to bring together thought leaders, practitioners, and researchers specialising in youth and childhood, family and group practice, and social policy to explore strategies and best practices for fostering inclusive and sustainable communities.

Over the course of the event, participants will engage in plenary sessions and dynamic discussions that address critical issues such as equitable access to resources, individual and family well-being, community resilience, and sustainable development practices. Key focuses include:

  • Strategies for empowering marginalized communities and promoting equitable policymaking
  • Building collaborations between governments, NGOs, and the private sector to drive social innovation
  • Case studies showcasing successful initiatives in social inclusion and sustainability

Speakers and audience will include international visitors, scholars from other universities in Hong Kong, NGO practitioners, and CUHK faculty members and postgraduate students. Please join us in this vital conversation as we seek to chart a course for a more inclusive and sustainable future, equipped to navigate the challenges of our rapidly changing world. Together, we can build resilient societies that thrive amid uncertainty.

Should you have any enquiries about the conference, please feel free to contact Mr. Horatio Gong at 3943 1709.

We look forward to seeing you!
