The Graduate Division of the department organized an “Orientation Day for New Postgraduate Students” on 31 August 2024. The event aimed to welcome incoming students of 2024-25 academic year and provide them with essential information of their studies. Prof. To Siu Ming, the Department Chairperson, and Prof. Chen Ji Kang, the Graduate Division Head, as well as Mr. Lam Keung, the Alumni Association President, delivered welcoming speeches to the freshmen. To capture this special occasion, all guests, faculty members and freshmen participating in this event took a group photo at the venue.
